What is love?

We must first understand that everything in this world works with energy. All transactions are an exchange of energy. Only when we look at this world from a deeper perspective will we be able to understand that all beings on earth are first spiritual then material.

Among all spiritual beings there exists attraction. This is due to the spiritual qualities within each of us like nobility, honesty, generosity, loyalty etc. However, attraction is greater between beings emitting 'like' vibrations. Love is defined by how we feel with the person we are in love with. Love is a feeling of comfort and comfort comes from familiarity, likeness. Friction of ideas can only cause disharmony and lack of love. Also, we feel loved when we are treasured, when we are treated in a way that makes us feel special, cared for and admired. Love is loyalty, friendship, care, comfort, respect and admiration wrapped in one.

If we have a clear understanding of what we are looking for(in this case love) isn't it easier to find it? There are numerous love stories which stand as a testament to this theory. Our problem is that we have a romanticized concept of love, which is true, but, we imagine it as a precondition rather than the destination reached after an enlightening journey. Due to this misguided idealism innumerable marriages and relationships have broken up and many romances burned down. Yet, I tell to all those who are broken hearted that there is hope. Everything they have dreamed of love can come true, the only virtue required of them is patience.
